Welcome to season 3 of You're Tall but I'm Standing in Front of You! We're celebrating V-E Day with a miniseries of episodes on World War II, the event through which the 20th century so often understood and misunderstood itself. We begin on the Eastern Front by discussing Elem Klimov's Come and See (1985) with film critic, professor, musician, and friend of the show Matt Ellis. We talk about Matt's very reel history with Come and See, the IMDB top 100, and how the victory in Europe might not have been that victorious.
